Occupations: Brian is teaching in Santee, Nebraska (6th, 7th, 8th math). Lisa is a retired teacher. She stays home and takes care of mom and travels between children!
Pat Weber, Lisa’s mom, lives with Lisa and Brian. She is a retired Rural Mail Carrier.

Forrestal (31) and Kari (33) Hickman: Forrestal works for Interstates (an engineering company) and he and Kari own Petals and Perks (Flower/Gift shop) in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Calista (30) and Reggie Walker (28): Calista started Irene’s Balloon Wonderland and Reggie drives Uber/Lyft and plays football.

Danika Hickman (24) student at DesMoines University. She is working on her doctorate in Physical Therapy. Stan Stewart (27) engaged to Danika (getting married this summer!). He teaches Physical Education at Belmond Schools in Belmond, Iowa.

What is your family’s favorite activity? I asked the kids and these were their answers: Spending the day at the pond, Playing cards, making noodles, just spending time together.

What is your family’s favorite season? Kids responses: Summer/Fall

What is your family’s favorite tradition? Kids responses: Visiting the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, making gingerbread houses, yearly vacations together
