JANUARY

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)

The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. (Psalm 12:6)

Is anything too hard for the Lord?… (Genesis 18:14)

And God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; no longer shall your name be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name.” So he called his name Israel. (Genesis 35:10)

FEBRUARY

So it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt. (Genesis 45:8)

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. (Genesis 50:20)

Though he slay me, I will hope in him; yet I will argue my ways to his face. (Job 13:15)

How you have helped him who has no power! How you have saved the arm that has no strength! (Job 26:2)

MARCH

And he said to man,‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’ (Job 28:28)

I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. (Job 42:2)

And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. (Exodus 3:6)

APRIL

For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14)

Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” And Aaron held his peace. (Levitius 10:3)

Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy. (Leviticus 19:2)

So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord. (Leviticus 22:31)

MAY

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)

So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12)

Balaam said to Balak, “Behold, I have come to you! Have I now any power of my own to speak anything? The word that God puts in my mouth, that must I speak.” (Numbers 22:38)

To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord is God; there is no other besides him. (Deuteronomy 4:35)

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5)

JUNE

A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established. (Deuteronomy 19:15)

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.  (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! (Psalm 105:1)

But my brothers who went up with me made the heart of the people melt; yet I wholly followed the Lord my God. (Joshua 14:8)

JULY

You yourselves have seen everything the Lord your God has done to all these nations for your sake; it was the Lord your God who fought for you.  (Joshua 23:3)

Hear, O kings; give ear, O princes; to the Lord I will sing; I will make melody to the Lord, the God of Israel. (Judges 5:3)

In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.  (Judges 21:25)

There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:2) 

AUGUST

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:2)

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)

I love you, O Lord, my strength. (Psalm 18:1)

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord who walks in his ways! (Psalm 128:1)

SEPTEMBER

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11)

In the day of my trouble I call upon you, for you answer me. (Psalm 86:7)

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High (Psalm 92:1)

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! (Psalm 133:1)

OCTOBER

For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100:5)

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. (Psalm 1:1-2)

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. (Psalm 20:7)

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! (Psalm 51:2)

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. (Psalm 28:7)

NOVEMBER

For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. (Psalm 62:1)

As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? (Psalm 42:1-2)

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. (Psalm 30:5)

The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. (Psalm 145:8)

DECEMBER

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! (Psalm 111:10)

Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O Lord, and whom you teach out of your law. (Psalm 94:12)

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen! (Psalm 72:18-19)
